Blick zum Bodemuseum, von der Havel

In der Nähe zum Hackeschen Markt, an der Havel mit Blick auf das Bodemuseum...allerdings einige Tage vorher, als noch Schnee und Eis das Wetter bestimmte. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Tag.
Das Bild ist noch unvollendet...also im Augenblick mehr eine Farbskizze. Ich werde daran noch weiter arbeiten. Ich bin gespannt, was daraus noch wird.....

Located close to Hackescher Markt, on the havel overlooking the Bode Museum ... but a few days before, when still snow and ice weather specific. Still, it was a beautiful day.
The image is still unfinished ... so at the moment more a color sketch. I am committed to continue working. I'm curious what will happen yet .....

Das Format beträgt wieder 20x20 cm und die Technik..Öl auf Leinwand.
Ich fange meist mit einer Vorzeichnung an, die ich mit einem Bleistift ausführe.
Die Vorzeichnung wird leicht fixiert und danach streiche ich eine Imprimitur, meist ein warmer Farbton, darüber...aber so, dass die Zeichnung hindurch scheint.
Nach dem Trocknen fange ich an, die einzelnen Partien grob mit Farbe anzulegen.
Dann folgt das Durcharbeiten der einzelnen Teile....und man muß zum richtigen Zeitpunkt aufhören können....

I usually start with a sketch, which I run with a pencil.
The sketch is easily fixed, and then I paint a imprimatura, usually a warm tone, about that ... but so that the drawing shows through.
After drying, I'm starting to coarse to create the individual parts with paint.
Then follows the work through the individual parts .... and you must be able to stop at the right time ....
